Company Announcement

August 21, 2026, FROMM FAMILY FOODS of MEQUON, Wisconsin is recalling 3,852 cases of Fromm Turkey Pâté Wet canned dog food and 1,973 cases of Fromm Diner Classics Milo’s Meatloaf Pâté Wet canned dog food due to potential metal contamination.

Dogs ingesting metal may exhibit symptoms such as choking, vomiting, loss of appetite, lethargy, or stomach discomfort. Metal of any size, especially sharp pieces, can lead to serious health issues in dogs, including lacerations in the mouth and gastrointestinal tract. Metal, when consumed in large amounts, can lead to gastrointestinal upset, partial blockage, and a risk of intestinal obstruction. Consumers whose dogs have consumed any of the affected product and are exhibiting these symptoms should contact their veterinarian.

Consumers should stop feeding the product listed below to their dogs.

There are no other Fromm products affected by this recall. The recall was initiated after receiving complaints of metal contamination. We have identified the error, and in addition to our existing safety processes, we have put corrective actions in place to prevent this from happening again.
