VICTOR launches three Raw Blend dog foods with freeze-dried meat

VICTOR announced three Raw Blend dog foods on June 15, 2026: Farm Chicken, Fishermen's Salmon and Ranchers' Beef. Each mixes high-protein kibble with visible pieces of freeze-dried raw meat. The pieces are chicken breast, skin-on salmon or beef, matching the recipe name.

VICTOR lists each recipe in 4 lb and 20 lb bags. The company says both sizes are open to its retailers, though availability varies by location. Retailer listings for the line are already online.

What is different in the bowl

The change is the added meat pieces, rather than a switch to an entirely freeze-dried meal. Each food still has a kibble base. VICTOR lists meat as the first ingredient in each recipe and gives all three a guaranteed minimum of 34% crude protein and 18% crude fat.

The recipe names do not tell the whole ingredient story. Farm Chicken also lists menhaden fish meal. Ranchers' Beef lists pork fat and menhaden fish meal, while Fishermen's Salmon lists pork fat. Owners avoiding an ingredient should read the complete list, including the kibble ingredients, instead of relying on the meat named on the front.

What it means for VICTOR feeders

These are additional choices for people already feeding VICTOR, but they are distinct formulas. Our reviews of other VICTOR foods do not assess these Raw Blends. A familiar brand name does not mean the ingredients, calories or feeding amount match a dog's current recipe.

Life stage wording also differs within the line. VICTOR says Farm Chicken and Fishermen's Salmon meet nutrient profiles for all life stages, including growth of large size dogs. Ranchers' Beef is labeled for all life stages except growth of large size dogs, defined on the product page as dogs weighing 70 lb or more as adults. That distinction matters for a growing large breed puppy.

What to check on the bag

Read the nutritional adequacy statement for your dog's life stage, then check the full ingredient list and calories per cup. VICTOR lists 390 calories per cup for chicken and salmon and 380 for beef. Use the feeding guide for the specific recipe and adjust the amount to your dog's needs rather than carrying over the same scoop from another food.

If changing recipes, VICTOR's product pages show a gradual transition over about 10 days. Also check the bag's lot information and storage directions, as you would with any new food. The company's claims about added ingredients supporting joints, skin or digestion are product claims, not a reason to assume a particular result for an individual dog.
