Earthborn Holistic no longer lists eight dry dog food recipes

What we found

We checked Earthborn Holistic’s current US dog food range on September 28, 2026. Eight dry recipes we have reviewed were absent from the brand’s collection pages. Earthborn’s FAQ says its dog food selection became smaller during a packaging and recipe refresh, including its Venture and Unrefined lines. It also addresses owners whose food is being discontinued.

That supports a change to the range, but an absent listing does not tell us when each recipe stopped being made or whether an older bag remains at a retailer. Earthborn has not given a separate end date for these eight foods on the pages we read.

The eight recipes

The two original Earthborn Holistic recipes are Adult Vantage and Ocean Fusion. The Unrefined recipe is Smoked Turkey with Ancient Grains & Superfoods. The four Venture limited ingredient, grain free recipes are Duck Meal & Pumpkin, Roasted Lamb & Butternut Squash, Smoked Wild Boar & Butternut Squash, and Squid & Chickpeas. The eighth is Western Feast Grain-Free. All eight are dry dog foods.

The current US collections show other foods under the same family names. Unrefined lists roasted lamb, roasted rabbit and smoked salmon. Venture lists rabbit meal and pumpkin, Alaska pollock meal and pumpkin, and turkey meal and pumpkin. The Grain Free Classics page lists five dry recipes, without Western Feast. A familiar line name therefore does not mean the recipe in a new bag matches the one your dog ate before.

What this means for owners

If you feed one of these eight foods, check the full recipe name before relying on a store listing or a bag with refreshed packaging. A retailer may still display an older product page even when the recipe is missing from Earthborn’s current US range. The brand also says its refreshed foods include changes to nutrition, so a similar looking bag may hold a different formulation.

Our reviews of these eight recipes list alternatives to compare. Start with the review for the exact food your dog eats, especially if you chose it for a particular protein, grain choice or limited ingredient list. Earthborn advises taking at least seven days to switch to a new food.

What to check on the bag

Read the recipe name and ingredient list, then compare the protein sources with your current bag. Check the nutritional adequacy statement for your dog’s life stage, the calories per cup and the feeding directions. Earthborn says its Venture and Unrefined lines remain available, but with fewer recipes. It also says the 12.5 pound bag size was removed from those lines. If your dog needs a tightly controlled diet, confirm the replacement’s full label before making a change.
